Winter weather is here, and there may be a few days that are too dangerous for students and families to travel to school. Our SU administrative team is constantly monitoring the weather throughout the year. When we are aware of a potentially dangerous weather system, we begin planning a day or two in advance. We work with the National Weather Service (NWS) and our local road crews to determine if the roads and weather are safe enough for school. When a decision is needed, we gather for a morning meeting between 4:00 am and 5:00 am to make this decision based on the latest information from NWS and our road crews. If we are going to close schools, under usual circumstances, we will send that information to families by 5:30 via ParentSquare (email, text, and/or voice) and post it on our website. We will also post this on WCAX to list which of our schools are impacted. Please be safe out there,
