Our School
Mission
Our mission is to prepare students to be kind, aware and competent friends, leaders, co-workers and citizens, by creating a safe environment where each individual can grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Our vision is to create a community of learners by emphasizing rigorous learning, empathy towards others, self-advocacy, and individual excellence.
Our Pre-K through Grade 12 community is both proud of its strong tradition and welcoming to our tuition students from many surrounding towns.
Elementary (PreK-6th Grade)
Danville Elementary School is a PreK–6 school with a vibrant and nurturing learning community where every child is known, valued, and supported. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. With a strong focus on foundational skills, social-emotional growth, and student-centered instruction, our dedicated staff work in partnership with families to ensure each child reaches their full potential. At Danville Elementary, we believe in the power of relationships and community. Our small class sizes, engaging curriculum, and emphasis on hands-on learning help students build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging. Whether it’s through daily classroom experiences, community events, or our commitment to school-wide expectations rooted in PRIDE—Polite, Responsible, Inclusive, Determined, and Engaged—we strive to create an environment where students thrive academically and socially. We are proud to be a place where learning is joyful and each student’s journey is celebrated.
Middle (7th & 8th Grade)
Danville Middle School serves students in grades 7 and 8, offering a well-rounded educational experience focused on academic growth and personal development. We continue to focus on Danville PRIDE (polite, responsible, inclusive, determined, engaged) and creating a welcoming and safe environment for all in middle school. Our students are supported by four core teachers in math, language arts, science, and global citizenship. In addition to core academics, students explore a variety of essential arts courses. We also provide opportunities for students to engage in enrichment beyond the classroom through a range of clubs held during the school day and after-school sports programs. At Danville Middle School, we strive to create a dynamic and supportive environment where every student can succeed.
High School (9th-12th Grade)
Danville High School offers students a personalized and engaging educational experience, grounded in the belief that a small school can provide big possibilities. With multiple pathways to graduation and dual credit opportunities, students can pursue their interests while earning college credit and preparing for their future. Our small class sizes ensure that every student’s needs are met and that meaningful relationships with teachers are built. Academic excellence and creativity are celebrated through participation in Student Council, OVX, National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. At Danville High School, we are committed to helping every student discover their potential and achieve success—today and beyond graduation.
