March 13, 2026
The beginning of March welcomed us with sunshine and warmer weather, a wonderful way to start the month! We were so happy to see our students return last week after Winter Break and to have our school community together again. As we move further into March, we are excited for the many learning experiences, activities, and moments of growth that lie ahead.

Thank you to all of our families for your continued support and partnership!

Girls On The Run Registration

It’s GO-TR time for grades 3rd - 8th! The season starting line is right around the corner for Girls on the Run at Danville. Give your girl the chance to grow her confidence, speak up and use her voice like never before this spring!

Girls on the Run supports girls in building confidence through a mix of team discussions, movement-based games, and life skill-building activities. Lessons also teach participants how to share their thoughts, ideas, and feelings, and help others to do the same. Core lesson topics include:
  • Navigating emotions
  • Self-talk
  • Teamwork
  • Friendships

The season begins the week of March 16 and ends with a celebratory 5K on Saturday, June 6th at the Champlain Expo in Essex, Vermont. Danville's team will meet twice weekly to connect, move, learn and have FUN! They will meet on Monday and Wednesday from 3.30pm to 5.00pm at the Danville Methodist Church (Danville Green).

Visit gotrvt.org/programs to learn more about GOTR and register your girl. Contact GOTRVT at info@girlsontherunvermont.org or 802-871-5664.
